Dress Code & Colours

  • Cocktail Attire. We kindly encourage guests to wear the following “sunset glow” colours for the celebrations.

  • Semi-formal attire is suggested for 30 April.

Photography

  • Please download WedShoots app and then scan the left image to view and add to the gallery of pictures throughout the wedding celebrations!

  • As we will have a professional photographer capturing the event, we kindly ask that guests refrain from taking pictures or recording when seated during the wedding ceremony and in the chapel.

Plus ones & Children

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate additional guests. Unless explicitly invited, children and plus ones are not included in the invitation, sorry!

Château facilities

  • Please be aware there will be no access into the Château from 6pm - 6.30pm as the driveway is close to the location of the ceremony.

  • A cloakroom and toilets are available in the Orangerie at the Château

  • There will also be access to the staircase room in the Château, but we are not permitted to enter the areas above the staircase.

Accommodation

  • There are many hotels close by, we recommend staying in Versailles or Paris area as it is central to the venues across the 3-days.

  • We’ve been told the ibis de la cours rolland and Best Western HEC will offer a discount if you mention you are guests of Château du Bois du Rocher.

Transport

  • Travel is easy by car but bear in mind traffic around Paris! There is also good public transport by bus/ train and Uber.

  • The château can be reached easiest by car/ uber, or you can take the Bus 6123 & N66.

Who to contact

  • Versailles chapel: there is parking inside and on surrounding streets.

  • Château: there are limited parking spaces - please ensure when you RSVP to let us know if you need a car space, so we can ensure there is enough spaces.
